Duty Manager

About the Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue, ensuring our members and guests receive outstanding service while maintaining the highest operational standards.
Your responsibilities will include:




Leading and motivating staff across all departments.
Supervising daily venue operations.
Opening and closing the venue.
Delivering exceptional customer service.
Gaming, TAB and Keno operations.
Cash handling, banking and end-of-day reconciliations.
Staff supervision and on-shift leadership.
Assisting with rostering and workforce planning.
Ensuring compliance with liquor, gaming and workplace legislation.
Maintaining presentation, cleanliness and safety standards throughout the venue.
Resolving customer enquiries professionally and confidently.
About You
You are a positive leader who enjoys working with people and leads by example.
You will have:
Previous Duty Manager experience within a licensed club, hotel or large hospitality venue.
Strong knowledge of Gaming, TAB and Keno operations.
Experience in food and beverage operations.
Excellent cash handling and reconciliation skills.
Experience supervising and developing staff.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
The ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
A genuine passion for customer service.
