Efficient Recruitment Pty Ltd We are looking for a Sports Development Officer to lead and support the delivery of tennis programs across schools, clubs, and community settings in Victoria. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in expanding tennis participation, enhancing player development, and strengthening community engagement through tennis.

Task & responsibilities
Developing, implementing, and evaluating sports programs tailored to diverse skill levels and age groups.
Enhancing community engagement through partnerships with schools, local clubs, and organisations.
Designing and coordinating strength & conditioning programs to support broader athlete development pathways.
Coordinating and managing sports events, including tournaments, clinics, and promotional activities.
Providing professional development and mentoring opportunities to coaches within the academy.
Supporting the administration of grant or funding programs and gathering information to inform community sport and recreation planning.
Identifying talented players and recruiting them into performance pathways through oncourt scouting and consultation with coaches and parents.




Organising and overseeing coaching clinics and training camps for club members and the wider community.
Overseeing coaching standards and consistency across programmes delivered to different participant groups.
Qualification & experience
Minimum 3 years' experience in sports coaching, sports development, or sports event management, preferably gained in Australia.
Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple programmes and events simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with coaches, athletes, schools, and community organisations.
A sound understanding of tennis development pathways and the ability to identify and nurture young talent.
A deep commitment to promoting sports participation, particularly for young people and under‐represented groups.
A relevant qualification in sports management, physical education, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
