About UsFoodlink Australia is a fast-growing food distribution business with foundation values of foodservice, dedication and innovation.The RoleThe purpose of the role is to identify, pursue and grow sales in specific key areas supported by a documented business plan and target account list.Key ResponsibilitiesA solid knowledge of fresh &frozen; seafood, dry and chilled products preferred.Identify, pursue, and grow sales in specific key areas supported by a documented business plan and target account list.Actively source recent foods service customersDevelop effective business partnerships with customers.Managing existing accounts within the allocated territory by utilizing existing relationships and your relationship skillsFacilitate and drive sales promotions.Support the planning and execution of special projects and programs.Develop new business opportunities and attend key accounts personally.Liaise closely with Customer Service Representatives, Foodservice Specialists and Operations staff.Key Competencies, Skills and QualificationsSelf-motivated and tenacious by natureCRM customer relationship systemAbility to adapt and determine strategies for achieving growth targets.High level of analytical and problem-solving abilityStrong relationship building and interpersonal skills with ability to engage others and influence successful outcomes.Passion and hunger to drive growth.Ability to identify opportunities and execute.Outstanding organizational and time management skillsStrong background preferably in the food service industry.Proven record in commercial sales and negotiation preferred.Job OfferThis is an exciting and challenging position, and the successful candidate will be compensated appropriately.
