This is a standalone role is responsible for overseeing the movement, scheduling, and availability of a fleet of heavy machinery across multiple sites. You'll manage day-to-day logistics, organising permitting and calculating axcel weightings while also coordinating the logistics of both preventative and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime.
The role is office-based and relies heavily on in-house systems and Excel to keep fleet operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate transport and allocation of heavy machinery between sites
/n
Manage logistics schedules using internal software and Excel
/n
Plan and coordinate logistics for preventative and breakdown maintenance
/n
Liaise with site teams and maintenance providers to align equipment availability
/n
Track fleet movements, maintenance status, and resolve clashes or delays
/n
Maintain accurate records, reporting, and fleet utilisation data
/n
Act as the central point of contact for all fleet and maintenance logistics
/n/n
What You'll Bring
/n

Experience in logistics, plant coordination, or fleet scheduling
/n
Exposure to fleet maintenance coordination (preventative and reactive)
/n
Robust Excel skills and confidence using internal systems
/n
Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
/n
Explicit communication and practical problem-solving skills
/n
Background in construction, civil, or heavy equipment environments (preferred)
