The Team & Role
We are seeking an experienced Plant Technician to support the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of building services at Frankston Hospital and Frankston Public Surgical Centre. Working within the Facilities Management team, you will maintain and repair critical mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, medical gas, and emergency power systems, respond to breakdowns and alarms, and ensure all plant operates in line with regulatory, safety, and healthcare accreditation requirements. This hands-on role includes preventative maintenance, fault response, contractor coordination, and participation in an on-call roster to support 24/7 hospital operations.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience in the operation and maintenance of plant equipment such as HVAC systems, boilers, cooling towers, pumps and associated mechanical / electrical assets.
Experience working in healthcare or other complex facilities is highly regarded




Experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for logging and receiving work orders.
Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS)
