Project Manager - Identity Platform Transition
We are looking for a senior Technology Project Manager to lead a complex enterprise identity platform transition from
Okta to Microsoft Entra ID
.
This is a dedicated delivery role with end-to-end responsibility for planning, governance, risk, reporting and coordination across discovery, design, application migration, testing, cutover and operational handover.
What you will be responsible for
Owning the integrated plan across all project workstreams
Managing migration waves, dependencies, sequencing and the critical path
Coordinating security, infrastructure, application owners, service desk teams and third-party suppliers
Maintaining the RAID register and providing clear, realistic delivery reportingManaging governance forums, stage gates, approvals and change control
Overseeing resource scheduling, testing, cutover, handover and project closure
Keeping delivery on track against a fixed completion deadline
What we are looking for




Significant experience leading complex technology migration or transformation programs
Experience with
IAM, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, infrastructure or enterprise platform migrations
Robust dependency, risk, governance and critical-path management capability
Experience coordinating client teams, managed service providers and specialist vendors
Demonstrated success delivering against fixed and externally imposed deadlines
Victorian Government or Victorian public sector delivery experience
A recognised project or programme management qualification
This role requires a Project Manager who understands that the greatest delivery risk sits in the coordination, sequencing and dependencies across the existing technology environment—not simply in implementing the target platform.
