Rate: $***** - $***** (L1-L5) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)
4 days per week with children aged 8 years, 4 years & 7 years
Flex with days - Educator choice of 4 days
Flex with times - Ideally seeking 4 full days - days and start/finish times are adaptable!
We are seeking an experienced, patient and engaging Educator to provide care for an 8 year old child.
The role involves supporting the child's daily routine while planning fun, developmentally appropriate experiences based on their interests and strengths. The child has a genuine love of learning and enjoys science, technology, reading, writing stories, general knowledge, rock climbing and outdoor play. An educator who enjoys following a child's interests and encouraging curiosity will be well suited to this role.
The child has ASD (Level 2), ADHD and experiences significant anxiety. Family are looking for an Educator who understands neurodivergent children, can remain calm and supportive when challenges arise, and is confident using positive,



strength based strategies to encourage problem-solving, independence and emotional wellbeing.
Two additional siblings may also be present during before and after school care periods. While the primary focus of the role is supporting the 8 year old, the Educator will be expected to provide appropriate supervision and care for all children in attendance during these times.
Previous experience supporting children with additional needs is highly desirable.
DRIVING REQUIRED
You must:
Either be working towards or hold a Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or other IHC relevant ACECQA approved qualifications e.g. Bachelor Primary Education and are registered with relevant state authority board.
Provide at least 3 references.
Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
Have a car & driver's licence
Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
Full working rights in Australia. (A range of visas may be considered depending on conditions and length of remaining stay - for example: visa 190 or visa 186. Applicants with 417 & 462 visas need not apply.)
