Opal Fibre Packaging Australia provides a full service offering in corrugated cardboard box packaging from design and product testing through to supply chain integration. We have an exciting chance for a Wastewater Services Technician to join the team at our site in Scoresby.
The main focus initially will be the water treatment plant but overtime the role would likely evolve to a broader process engineering position providing support to the site.
Other key duties of this role include:
Lead quality monitoring and troubleshooting activities
Perform testing activities
Ensure results are adequately analysed, collated and reported
Ensuring that manufacturing processes are within compliance standards
Identifying opportunities for improvements to relevant processes
Coordination with a wide range of internal and external customers and suppliers

For this role we would ideally like you to have:
Prior experience working within fast-paced environments overseeing wastewater processes
Prior experience in testing and compliance (this is a requirement for this role)
Ability to learn and manage the wastewater process autonomously
Experience working within wastewater would be highly advantageous
The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Ability to gather and interpret relevant data
Strong organizational skills
Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
