Requirements for this role:

No experience required for this role
Expected salary: $32 per hour
Previous medical reception experience, preferably in a GP practice is essential but not compulsory .

Experience using clinical and practice management software and good computer literacy desirable
A positive team player
Positive understanding of MBS billing item numbers and their correct application
Willingness and motivation to undertake training to maintain and improve skill base.
Basic knowledge of medical terminologies
Ability to embrace new initiatives
Knowledge of the Department of Human Services, Medicare,



Work Cover and private billing arrangements desirable but not compulsory
Interested in own professional development
Demonstrated skills and experience using office equipment – e.g. multiline phone system, computers, photocopiers, printers, facsimile machines, scanners
Ability to represent the Healthcare Practice in a courteous and professional manner at all times and in all circumstances.
Ability to follow Practice policies and procedures
Ability to follow changes in Practice policies and procedures
Ability to work as a team member and treat all team members respectfully.
Versatile approach to working arrangements and changing condition.
