We're recruiting a Family Services Case Manager to support vulnerable and at-risk families with children aged 0-17. This role focuses on strengthening parenting capacity and supporting safer, more reliable family environments through evidence-based, strengths-based practice, delivered largely in the family home.
The role
In this position you will:
Provide case management and case planning to families with multiple and complex needs
Conduct complex assessments and deliver targeted, solution-focused interventions
Support families to build parenting capacity, stability, and safety
Work collaboratively with key stakeholders including The Orange Door and Child Protection / Protective Services
Maintain strong partnerships with external services to ensure co‐ordinated and seamless support
Provide guidance and support to colleagues and other service providers as required
What you'll bring
Bachelor of Social work or equivalent, a relevant Diploma (Community Services) combined with experience will also be considered.
Experience working with vulnerable and at-risk children and families
Proven ability to complete complex assessments and implement strengths‐based, solution‐focused interventions
Sound knowledge of, or experience working alongside, The Orange Door and Protective Services / Child Protection
Strong capability in case planning and case management
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
Confidence building relationships across a range of stakeholders and service systems

0.7 FTE (part‐time)
Fixed‐term until 30 June ****
Glen Waverley location

1 day per week working from home
Must have a valid driver's licence and own car
