Agribusiness & Meat Processing, Non-Executive Director (Board-level role)
The Company is seeking an Independent Non-Executive Director to join its board.
The ideal candidate will have a background in agribusiness, particularly in meat processing, red meat production, or livestock supply chains, and a strong understanding of the Australian livestock industry and agricultural sector.
Experience in complex, capital-intensive businesses, deep commercial acumen, and the ability to contribute to strategic decision-making are essential.
The role involves providing independent oversight, strategic guidance, and constructive challenge as the business focuses on operational excellence, sustainability, governance, and long-term value creation.
Key responsibilities for the Independent Non-Executive Director include attending approximately six board meetings per year, preparing for meetings, participating in committee discussions, and making periodic site visits.




The successful candidate should be adept in corporate governance, board leadership, strategy, business transformation, finance, risk management, and have a strong understanding of sustainability and ESG.
Personal attributes should include being strategic, commercially minded, an effective communicator, and influencer, as well as being cooperative, independent, and committed to strong governance.
The role is pivotal in the company's growth and development, and the candidate should be able to build productive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Functions:
Board of Directors (non-operating)
Large-scale, vertically integrated agribusiness spanning livestock, cropping and meat processing operations.
