Who We Are:
Apex Camps operates a two highly successful camps, including Apex Camp Sunshine Coast at Twin Waters and Apex Camp Magnetic Island in beautiful North Queensland.
We deliver high-quality, customer-focused educational and recreational camp experiences for school groups, sporting and community organisations.
Our camps provide a variety of activities, with a strong emphasis on safety, engagement, and memorable guest experiences.

About the Role:
The Catering Manager is responsible for for ensuring quality meals and snacks are provided to guests creating a memorable dining experience for our clients.
This is coupled with the concept that the camp is a business unit that needs to run profitably with effective overseeing of budgets, cost-stock controls and management of kitchen assets .
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the camps kitchen facilities
Staff Leadership and Development
Customer Service
Kitchen Asset Management and Maintenance
Regulatory and Legislative compliance
Key Selection Criteria:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Proven management experience within a dynamic environment
Excellent team management and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage logistics, scheduling and planning
Experience in the same or similar industry desirable
Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
Full-time position in a values-driven not-for-profit organisation
