Wyvern Health Ltd is seeking apart-time Radiographerto join our medical imaging team at our Terrey Hills facility in NSW.
As a Radiographer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
This position offers the flexibility of part-time work whilst maintaining the strategic importance of ensuring accurate, safe and efficient imaging procedures.
Your expertise will directly contribute to patient care outcomes and the continued success of our imaging services.
We have a 24-hour, state-of-the-art Radiology facility delivering the highest quality patient care without compromise.
You will be responsible for producing the highest quality imaging for patients using the latest imaging equipment and technology, including MRI, CT, X-Ray, Fluoroscopy and two dedicated Angio/Cath Labs.
The role allows you to work across our Imaging and Theatre suites with full training provided across all modalities.
Theatre and Angio/Cath labs will be a focus in this private hospital role, and you will be supported by a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical service to patients, specialist consultants and referrers at Wyvern Private Hospital.
On-Call and flexible shift times are available for the successful candidate.
This role is a permanent part-time position currently with the possibility of transitioning to full-time as our business grows.

What you'll be doing




Operating and maintaining diagnostic imaging equipment in accordance with strict safety and quality standards
Positioning patients correctly to obtain optimal diagnostic images whilst minimising radiation exposure
Preparing patients for imaging procedures, including explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns
Maintaining detailed and accurate records of imaging procedures and patient information
Adhering to radiation protection protocols and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation
Collaborating with radiologists, referring physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient outcomes
Performing equipment maintenance checks and reporting any technical issues promptly
Contributing to a safe, professional and supportive team environment
What we're looking for
Current registration with the Australian Institute of Radiography (AIR) or equivalent qualified body
You'll have a tertiary qualification in Medical Imaging Technology (Radiography), a current AHPRA registration and an EPA licence.
Demonstrated knowledge of radiation protection principles and safe handling practices
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients,



colleagues and healthcare professionals
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of image quality
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining patient safety
Proficiency in using digital imaging systems and healthcare IT platforms
Current First Aid certification is advantageous
Experience in a medical imaging environment is preferred
