Job Description

Oversee the preparation, submission, and management of environmental approvals and permits.

Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and industry standards.

/n
Collaborate with internal teams to implement sustainable practices and minimise environmental impact.

/n
Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies and key stakeholders.

/n
Provide expert advice on environmental and approvals matters to internal and external parties.

/n
Conduct environmental risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.

/n
Monitor and report on environmental performance and compliance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Environmental & Approvals Advisor should have:

A relevant tertiary qualification in environmental science, environmental engineering, or a related field.

/n
Proven experience in environmental approvals and compliance within the energy and natural resources industry.

/n
Strong knowledge of Australian environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.

/n
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

/n
Ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities effectively.

/n
A proactive approach to problem‐solving and decision‐making.
