Shape the way City of Launceston delivers projects In this newly created role, you'll get to build and continue to develop Council's Project Management Office, maturing the framework, tools and governance that keep Council's on track. From new community infrastructure to city shaping strategy and enabling ways of working, you'll make sure ambition turns into robust delivery.

You'll lead a small team of project and engagement specialists, mentor them into a high performing function, and give the Executive Leadership Team and Council the clear, reliable reporting they need to make good decisions.



You'll work closely with Finance to keep budgets, grant reporting and funding acquittals on track, and you'll be the person sponsors call on when a project gets complicated.

Key responsibilities of this position include:

Lead the ongoing development of Council's Project Management Office, maintaining and improving its framework, tools and templates
Lead, mentor and develop a team of project management specialists
Deliver portfolio reporting for the Executive Leadership Team and Council, tracking progress, risk, budget and perks
Partner with Finance to manage project budgets, grant reporting and funding acquittals
