About the Role
As the Reliability Engineer – Fixed, you'll be responsible for improving equipment reliability, reducing downtime and optimising maintenance strategies across the underground mobile fleet.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing reliability improvement strategies
Analysing equipment performance, reliability trends and maintenance KPIs
Leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and defect elimination initiatives
Reviewing preventative maintenance strategies and recommending improvements
Supporting lifecycle management and asset performance optimisation
Working closely with Maintenance Planners, Supervisors and Operations teams
Providing technical recommendations to improve fleet availability and reliability
Maintaining asset data and reporting through SAP
Plant & Equipment
You'll provide reliability support across a range of fixed plant assets, including:
Surface crushing plant
Conveying systems
Underground fixed processing equipment
Ore handling infrastructure
Pumps, crushers,



conveyors and ancillary processing equipment
Fixed plant associated with underground hard rock mining operations
About You
To be successful, you'll bring:
Demonstrated experience as a Reliability Engineer within mining or heavy industry
Experience supporting heavy mobile mining equipment
Underground hard rock mining experience (highly regarded)
Strong understanding of reliability methodologies, including RCA and defect elimination
Experience with SAP or similar CMMS
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Relevant Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience
