Programmed Facility Management is currently seeking a
Restoration Technician
to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to build a long‐term career in the restoration industry. We welcome applicants from trade, construction, maintenance and labouring backgrounds who are eager to learn and develop new skills.
Working as part of our restoration team, you will be responsible for carrying out restoration works, operating specialised equipment, site remediation activities and assisting in the recovery of facilities impacted by water, fire, storm and mould‐related incidents. Full training and support will be provided to successful candidates.

Key Responsibilities
Attend live sites impacted by water, fire, storm or mould damage
Complete water extraction, drying, cleaning and restoration activities
Set up, monitor and remove specialised restoration equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers
Conduct moisture readings and maintain accurate site documentation
Assist with strip‐out, demolition and remediation works where required
Perform mould remediation and contamination control activities
Liaise professionally with site representatives, occupants and stakeholders
Ensure all restoration works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Follow company quality, environmental and safety procedures at all times
About You
To join our team, you will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in restoration is highly regarded but not essential, as full training will be provided. Additionally, you will have:
Current unrestricted Driver's Licence (mandatory)
Current Employee Working with Children Check (mandatory)
Previous restoration experience highly regarded but not essential
Trade qualification or trade‐based background highly desirable but not essential
Experience within construction, remediation, maintenance, labouring or similar industries highly regarded
Sound understanding of building materials and construction methods is advantageous and assists with effective remediation and restoration outcomes
Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
Strong problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
Willingness to learn new skills and complete industry training
Willingness to undergo and successfully pass a National Police Check
Willingness to undertake and pass a pre‐employment medical assessment, including drug and alcohol screening
Training & Development
No restoration qualifications? No problem. Suitable candidates who do not currently hold IICRC industry‐recognised restoration certifications will be provided with training and supported to obtain the relevant qualifications.
We particularly encourage applications from individuals with trade, construction, maintenance and labouring backgrounds, as an understanding of building materials and construction methods can be highly beneficial when undertaking remediation and restoration works.
