Border Express currently has an exciting opportunity available for an experienced and motivatedfull time Parcel Driver to join the team at our Cranbourne branch
This role will be doing multi drop deliveries of parcels and satchels around South East Metro Melbourne
You will be driving a small box truck and and MR licence is required for the role at a minimum.
Shift hours will be: Monday to Friday - 8.00am - 4.30pm with overtime till 5.30 generally occurring.
This position plays an integral part in the safe, efficient and effective movement of freight to achieve the delivery promise that we have made to our customers with a vehicle is supplied.
Success in this position is measured when Delivered In Full On Time (DIFOT) targets are met, a safe workplace is actively demonstrated and paperwork accuracy targets are met. This is a front line position, which requires a high level of communication, professionalism, presentation and customer service to be applied consistently every day.
Duties:
Deliveries to customers
Maintain Runsheet and PDA during the day
Multi-drop deliveries of parcels
Pickups
Ensure load is compliant
Aid in loading of vehicle
Skills and Experience:
Minimum MR licence isessential for this position
Minimum 2 years experience in the Transport industry
Excellent Driver History Report
Great local knowledge of Melbourne metro and surrounding areas
Ability to work unsupervised
