Yard Hand - Mackay, QLD

We are currently seeking a Yard Hand to join our client's operations team in Mackay. This is a outstanding chance for someone with warehouse, production, or machine operating experience who is looking for a hands-on role in a safety-focused setting.

Some Saturday work may be required.

The Role In this position, you will play a key part in daily operations, ensuring products are filled, checked, and delivered safely and on time. Your work will directly support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

Performing pre-trip checks and vehicle condition reports
Filling cylinders according to daily orders
Operating test stations as required
Sorting, inspecting, and labelling cylinders to meet safety and quality standards
Loading pallets and trucks for delivery to branches, depots, and customer sites
Completing required paperwork and documentation accurately




Participating in training sessions and team activities

Supporting general warehouse and production duties as needed

We're Looking for Someone Who Brings:

Current HR Driver's Licence (essential)
Current Forklift Licence with at least 6 months' experience
Experience in a safety-focused industrial, production, or warehouse environment
Knowledge of dangerous goods handling, storage, or transport (preferred)
Robust attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to follow procedures accurately
