2XM is hiring for a well-established structural steel fabrication/construction company delivering projects across the Perth metropolitan area. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Leading Hand with a background in structural steel, rigging, or fabrication to oversee site installation crews (~ 5 person crews)

This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for coordinating daily site activities, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise structural steel installation crews on metro projects.
Coordinate daily site activities and liaise with project management.
Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification.
Read and interpret structural drawings.
Maintain quality workmanship and site documentation.
Promote a solid safety culture and mentor team members.

About You
Background of either; Trade qualified Boilermaker, Advanced Rigger, or similar relevant background.




Previous experience leading site crews within structural steel.
Solid knowledge of steel erection and installation.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
High commitment to workplace safety.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Current White Card.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Rigging licence
