Community Solutions is seeking candidates that are committed in completing a 3-year Skilled Construction Worker – Road Construction and Maintenance Traineeship (Certificate III in Civil Construction). The successful candidate must have solid knowledge and passion for the industry, labour experience and the ability to work various hours.

The Traineeship will involve but not limited to:

Learning to read plans and overviews and follow and implement as directed
Carry out measurements and calculations
Maintenance and repair on all types of roads
Operate small plant and equipment
Implementation of traffic management plans

The work is outdoors in most weather condition’s day or night

Essential Requirements:

Construction Industry White Card required before working on site
Driver’s license
Year 12 completion is highly regarded
Ability to provide two work or school related references

Successful candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug and alcohol testing.
