Warehouse & Manufacturing 2IC (Second in Charge)

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll play a key role in leading the day‐to‐day operations of our warehouse and manufacturing team, ensuring productivity, quality and safety remain at the highest standard.
You'll be a hands‐on leader—leading by example on the floor while helping to coordinate workflow, support the team and keep operations running smoothly.
What you'll be doing
As the Warehouse & Manufacturing 2IC, you'll divide your time between hands‐on warehouse duties and supporting the leadership of the operation.
Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Warehouse Supervisor with the day‐to‐day running of the warehouse and manufacturing team.
Acting as the go‐to person and stepping up to lead the team when the Warehouse Supervisor is away.
Coordinating daily workflow to ensure customer orders are picked, packed, manufactured and dispatched accurately and on time.
Receiving, unloading and organising incoming stock.
Assisting with the assembly and manufacture of our safety products.
Maintaining accurate inventory and participating in stock control activities.
Operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
Coaching and supporting team members while promoting a positive, safety‐first culture.
Identifying opportunities to improve processes, productivity and quality.




Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys leading from the front and takes pride in delivering great results. You'll ideally bring:
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Experience leading, supervising or mentoring a small team, or the desire and capability to step into a leadership role.
A current Forklift Licence (essential).
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good problem‐solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
A proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset.
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
Confidence using warehouse systems and basic computer skills.
