About the role

Cleared ICT is collaborating with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) to recruit several skilled Application Support Engineers. These positions will be part of the Passports IT Section within the Information Management and Technology Division (IMD), focusing on vital systems utilized by the Australian Passport Office (APO).

What you'll do
Provide technical support and maintenance for applications critical to the Australian Passport Office.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance system performance.

Requirements
A minimum of 3 years of experience in application support or a related field.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving application issues.




Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and service management practices.
NV1 security clearance is mandatory.
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.

Nice to have
Experience with cloud technologies and services.
Knowledge of scripting languages for automation tasks.

Skills & tools
Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience with database management systems.
Familiarity with monitoring and incident management tools.
