Job Description

Protech is looking for aMaintenance Fitter with heavy industrial or quarry experience in the eastern suburbs. Some travel may be involved on requirement.

Starting immediately, this will be an ongoing role with a view to permanency on afternoon shift. Fitters looking for just Sunday work are also encouraged to apply.

Shift Hours

/n
Monday – Thursday 4.00pm – 2.00am/3.00am

/n
Friday 2.00pm – 12.00am

/n
Saturdays 10.00am – 8.00pm

/n
Sundays 7.00am – 5.00pm (made available to anyone who is available to work them)

/n

About the role

/n
$60 base rate + super + penalties (+ 15% afternoon shift loading, $69.00 per hour)

Identifying and reporting hazards

Conduct safety audits and risk assessments

Role requirements

/n
Trade certified Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker

/n
Proven experience in heavy industrial maintenance

/n




Confined Space

/n
First Aid – CPR

/n
Working at heights (highly regarded)

/n
EWP (highly regarded)

/n
Dogging/Rigging licence (highly regarded)

/n
Someone who can work confidently by themselves
