About The Role
Xylem is looking for a Service Technician to join our team in Kalgoorlie. This is full-time, locally based role – no FIFO. You will perform both scheduled and emergency service work, including the disassembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and inspection of a variety of Xylem systems and products.
Duties
Service, repair and overhaul pump sets and related equipment
Install, test and commission pumps to operational standards before dispatch
Respond to emergency breakdowns and scheduled field service across Goldfields region
Communicate expert service advice to customers and internal teams
Prepare and maintain accurate service records and documentation
Skiles & Experience
Trade qualification — fitter and turner, mech fitter, mechanic, small engine mechanic or electrical trades (essential)
Prior workshop or field service experience in a similar mechanical role
Exposure to pump systems or heavy mechanical equipment (preferred)
MR licence and forklift ticket (desirable)
Strong attention to detail and customer communication skills
