About the Role
Are you an experienced and ticketed Machine Operator looking for stable, high-hour weeks with great pay?
We are a busy concrete recycling and quarry yard located in Petrie, looking for a skilled, reliable operator to join our team ASAP.
This position starts as a casual role offering consistent full-time hours (between 40 and 55 hours per week) with excellent overtime penalties.
For the right candidate, this is a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity with a view to transition to a permanent role within 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities
Safe and efficient operation of heavy machinery in a fast-paced recycling and quarry environment.
OperatingFront-End Loaders(experience with sales loading/production loading is highly desirable).
OperatingExcavatorsutilized as material handlers.
OperatingMoxy(Articulated Dump Trucks) and other yard machinery as required.
Assisting with daily machinery pre-starts, basic maintenance, and ensuring the yard runs smoothly.
Adhering strictly to site health and safety protocols.




What We Are Looking For
Proven Experience:Demonstrated history working in a quarry, concrete recycling, or heavy industrial yard.
Valid Machine Tickets:Current tickets for Front-End Loader (LL) and Excavator (LE) are essential.
Truck License:A valid Heavy Rigid (HR) or higher truck license is highly regarded.
Reliability:A strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to handle physical, fast-paced outdoor work.
Transport:You must have a current driver's license and your own reliable vehicle to get to the Petrie site.
