This is an excellent opportunity to develop your cooking skills within a professional kitchen environment, working alongside experienced chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
As a Commis Chef, you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen operations and contributing to the high standards of food preparation and presentation that our guests expect.
Key responsibilities
Prepare, cook and plate dishes according to established recipes and culinary standards
Assist senior chefs with food preparation, including chopping, mixing and cooking ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your designated work station and kitchen areas
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Support the kitchen team during service periods and respond to changing priorities
Receive and implement constructive feedback from senior kitchen staff
Contribute to inventory management and report on stock levels as required
Learn and develop new cooking techniques and culinary skills under mentorship
Assist with food costing and waste minimisation initiatives
What we're looking for
Availability for an immediate start
Culinary qualification or relevant training in food preparation and cooking
Demonstrated experience working in a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of food safety,



hygiene and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service periods
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to consistent quality
A willingness to learn and develop your culinary skills
Solid teamwork and communication skills
Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods
Flexibility with working hours, including weekends and public holidays as required
