This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced aged care professional to step into aRegional Quality Specialistrole, partnering with key stakeholders across NSW to strengthen clinical governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
Working closely withCare Managers, General Managers and the Quality Improvement Manager, you will provide expert guidance, identify opportunities for improvement and support homes to achieve the highest standards of care.
The Opportunity
As theRegional Quality Specialist, you will oversee a portfolio of residential aged care homes across NSW, providing hands-on support, coaching and quality expertise.
This role offers variety, autonomy and the opportunity to influence positive change across multiple services.
You will be part of a supportive quality structure, reporting into theQuality Improvement Manager, while collaborating closely with operational leaders across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Care Managers and General Managers to drive quality improvement initiatives.
Conduct audits, reviews and gap analyses to identify opportunities and strengthen compliance.
Support homes with the Aged Care Quality Standards, governance frameworks and continuous improvement plans.
Analyse trends, data and reporting to improve resident outcomes.
Provide coaching, education and support to clinical and operational teams.
Assist services with accreditation readiness and regulatory requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
CurrentAHPRA Registered Nurse (RN) registration.
Minimum2 years' experience within Residential Aged Care Quality and/or Care Management.
Robust understanding of clinical governance, compliance and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A strong eye for detail with the ability to identify risks and implement solutions.
A collaborative approach with the confidence to influence teams at all levels.
