Role & Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Program Director, you will provide modern, transparent, and high-quality leadership to ensure the successful implementation of the broader program. Your key responsibilities include:
Governance & Planning:
Lead the creation, end-to-end management, and rigorous monitoring of program-level planning and governance artefacts.
Portfolio Oversight:
Drive accountability for subordinate project outcomes, managing dependencies, benefits realisation, and high-level strategic requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
Act as a critical conduit to provide sophisticated relationship management between the program leadership, the Program Board, delivery teams, service owners, and external suppliers.
Risk & Issue Mitigation:
Proactively identify, manage, and escalte high-level risks and issues to the Program Sponsor and Board to safeguard delivery timelines.
Procurement & Contracts:
Oversee complex procurement activities and the ongoing contract management of program-level support and advisory services.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this position, you will ideally bring:
Technical Toolkit:
Strong expertise in Tier 1 enterprise program management methodologies (e.g., MSP, Prince2, Agile), with a deep understanding of integrated scheduling, financial tracking, and benefits realisation.
Experience:
Proven track record as a Program Manager leading large-scale digital transformation, cloud capability upgrades, network infrastructure, or cyber security programs within complex enterprise environments.
Core Capabilities:
Exceptional strategic communication skills, with the ability to deliver timely, integrated insights and high-quality advice to enable effective senior executive decision-making.
Eligibility & Clearance Requirements
Security Clearance:
Due to the secure nature of this Federal Government environment, candidates
must hold a current NV1 security clearance
, with an NV2 clearance preferred.
