Job Description
Seadar Contractors Pty Ltd was incorporated in June **** and has operated from that date as a company specializing in civil infrastructure works. Over the course of the years, Seadar Contractors have carried out high-quality work on numerous projects of varying complexity while building up the experienced workforce, capable of delivering formwork, concrete and steel fixing packages in the infrastructure and civil engineering sector. We are currently looking for suitable Civil Engineer to secure, long-term work on these projects.
POSITIONS AVAILABLE IN SYDNEY, CANBERRA, ADELAIDE & GOLD COAST. Duties & Responsibilities
Liaison with future clients to acquire new tender offers.
Analysing project documentation and determining construction methods, materials, and quality standards
Review design consultants' drawings and integrate into a project.
Preparation of detailed bills of quantities and accurate estimations.
Communicate on project progress, unusual concerns, and plans
Working on effective/accurate site work programs and implementing variations if necessary
Encompass operational, quality,



environmental and safety aspects within the program
Control over various projects at the tender stage through to completion
Ensure compliance with project documentation and OHS&E; regulations
Control over cost and coordination of site activities, organizing and directing site labour workforce and the delivery of construction materials
Organize field work and assign technicians and staff specialists to tasks, plants, and equipment and establishing detailed programs for the coordination of site activities
Execute the whole project in a cost and time effective manner.
Skills & Experience Qualifications:
Degree qualified Engineer
Experience:
Position available for graduate to gain experience in the construction industry
Prior experience working with Sydney based Civil Contractor preferred but not necessary
Experience in working with a wide range of professionals/trades
Skills:
Ability to work autonomously
Valuable understanding or architectural, structural and civil drawing
Ability to form a good relationship with a client
Good work organization skills
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $90,****** - $130,****** per year
