As the
Opening Venue Manager
of iPlay Melrose Central, you'll be there from the very beginning. You'll recruit and develop an exceptional team, shape the culture, drive performance and deliver unforgettable guest experiences from opening day and beyond.
Located within the exciting new Melrose Central precinct, this multi-million-dollar venue will feature state-of-the-art arcade games, modern bowling, immersive attractions, incredible birthday parties and premium food and beverage. Every day will be fast-paced, exciting and different.

What You'll Be Doing
As Venue Manager, you'll lead every aspect of the business, including:
Building, coaching and inspiring a high-performing leadership team
Recruiting and developing a team that delivers exceptional guest experiences
Creating a positive, energetic workplace culture where people love coming to work
Driving sales, profitability and key business performance indicators




Leading daily operations across arcade, bowling, attractions, parties and food & beverage
Managing labour, wages, stock, budgets and venue performance
Delivering outstanding customer experiences that keep guests coming back
Maintaining exceptional standards across presentation, cleanliness, safety and compliance
Building robust relationships within the local community and growing repeat business
Continuously looking for ways to improve the guest experience and business performance
About You
You're an experienced leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and knows how to bring out the best in people.
You lead with energy, accountability and positivity, and you understand that great venues are built by great teams.
You'll ideally bring:
Experience managing high-volume hospitality, entertainment, leisure or retail venues
Proven leadership experience with large teams
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Experience managing KPIs, labour costs and budgets
Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills
A hands-on leadership style and willingness to lead from the front
Food and beverage management experience is highly regarded
A current Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one
