The Wesley Hospital team The Wesley Hospital is an Australian leader in robotic surgery, and we are proud to be accredited as Australia's first Centre of Excellence in Robotic Surgery (COERS) including Bariatric, Orthopaedic and Cardiac surgeries. The Wesley Hospital isseekingto appoint a Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee the running of their surgical theatre complex.
Leading a large, multi-disciplinary team, you will oversee the ongoing delivery and development of procedural services across our 19 Theatres - applying your operational knowledge, leadershipcapabilityand communication skills to effectively lead your team to success. You'llcollaborate effectively with other healthcare leaders in the hospital, working together to deliveroptimalpatient-outcomes through exceptional clinical care. A diverse role, you will:
Achieveoptimalpatient outcomes andobjectivesthrough effective leadership and direction Lead your peopleincluding thetheatres leadership teamthrough identifying opportunities for development, learning, and improvement. Build a cooperative working environment between members of a multi-disciplinary team, applying your skills to build a high functioning and outcome focused unit
Maintain qualified standards of practice through the evaluation of services and through key strategies Ensureoptimalprocurement and allocation of resources, including recruitment and budgeting to achieve service objectives What makes a difference for us?




As an advanced Clinician, you willdemonstrateexceptional skills in Perioperative nursing, a passion for people leadership,andstrong patientadvocacyand costumer focus. You'llpresent with: 5 or more years clinical experience within a perioperative environment
Experience leading a high functioningmultidisciplinaryteam Ability to lead a team to deliver contemporary, evidence-based patient care Expertiseand skills in managing a cost centre budget and people management
Advocacy andleadingcontribution towardsquality initiatives and improvements Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent nursing qualification - AHPRA Registration Post Graduate Qualification in Clinical Speciality
