Why we need you
We are looking for a Projects Manager to lead our Australian Projects function.
This is a hands‐on leadership role responsible for both project delivery and the performance of the Projects team, including our Construction Manager and other project delivery personnel.
You will be accountable for:
The safe, effective and profitable delivery of projects
Leadership, coordination and development of the Projects team
Driving project performance across multiple concurrent projects
Building capability within the team and creating future leaders
Ensuring our people, systems and processes consistently deliver high‐quality outcomes
Maintaining robust client relationships and delivery excellence
This role requires someone who can operate at both levels — leading people while remaining close to the detail. You will provide direction, remove obstacles, support your team and ensure plans translate into successful outcomes on site.
What we're looking for




You are an experienced delivery leader who understands how to lead both projects and people in complex, high‐risk environments.
You may come from a background in heavy lifting, cranes, rigging, temporary works, major construction, infrastructure or engineering. More importantly, you understand the realities of project delivery and know how to convert plans into successful construction outcomes.
You may already know Marr.
Perhaps you've worked alongside our crane crews, partnered with our Construction Manager, or delivered projects where Marr provided specialist lifting solutions. You've seen first‐hand how we approach complex challenges and the standards we set for ourselves and our clients.

Your keys to success
Demonstrated experience leading project teams in heavy lift, crane, rigging, temporary works, engineering or construction environments
Proven ability to lead, manage and develop project delivery personnel
Strong understanding of crane operations, lifting practices and site execution
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
Capability across safety, planning, cost control, resource management and performance reporting
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
Experience implementing or improving project systems, processes and reporting frameworks
Sound commercial acumen with the ability to balance risk, cost and performance
A practical, solutions‐focused mindset with a strong sense of ownership
Willingness to travel as required
