The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for an
Operations Team Leader
to join the
Production team
based in
Novar Gardens, SA
. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
In this
hands-on, salaried role, you'll support the Operations Supervisor
to coordinate daily production activities and provide day-to-day leadership to a small team. You'll balance supporting and guiding others with actively contributing to operational work, helping the team deliver safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
This is a
permanent afternoon-shift position working Monday to Friday from 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm
. It's a great o
pportunity for an experienced operator ready to step into leadership or an existing Team Leader
looking for a new hands-on opportunity.

What Will You Do?
Working closely with the Operations Supervisor, you will:




coordinate daily workloads and activities across a small operations team
work alongside your team and support daily production activities
provide clear direction and practical support throughout the shift
champion safe work practices and promptly address or escalate safety concerns
monitor quality, productivity and operational performance
support the training and development of team members
identify opportunities to improve efficiency and ways of working
provide day-to-day leadership when the Operations Supervisor is
unavailable.
