The Position
To assist in the operations of the kiosks at the Lauren Jackson Sports Centre and Alexandra Park Athletics Complex and provide excellent customer service for all customers of these facilities.
Tasks and responsibilities
Assist customers with sales/purchases required in a friendly and courteous manner.
Provide a high level of hospitality expertise in food and beverage handling and presentation.
Operate POS registers for sales, including reconciliation, daily banking, eftpos and change bags.
Maintain absolute cleanliness in the following areas:Floor areas in kiosks and foyer areas including table and chairs.
All equipment used for food cooking and presentation ie; coffee maker, salad bar, grilles, toasters, microwave, pie warmer, deep fryer and all other relevant equipment.
Refrigerators, freezers, countertop and fronts, cool room, shelves and all cutlery, crockery and utensils.
Qualifications and experience
Experience in the hospitality industry preferably in cafe/kiosk environments
Experience in a customer focused environment including cash handling
Hours
Based on a 38 hour week, working on a casual basis, with actual days and times to be negotiated with the supervisor, with no RDO.
Stadium Operational Hours are 8.30am - *****pm,
these times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
Weekend and evening work will be required.
