About the Role
We are seeking a motivated
Junior Estimator
to join our expanding Estimating Department. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow within the construction industry while being supported by a team of experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed tenders, estimates, and full scopes of work
Recommend alternative products and pricing options to meet client budgets
Provide precise cost estimates and planning advice based on client specifications
Use On-Center or BuildSoft Take Off software (training provided)
Liaise daily with clients and suppliers to ensure clear communication and up-to-date information




Keep clients informed on project quote progress
Collaborate closely with senior estimators and receive full on-the-job training

Requirements
Estimating experience in a similar role is advantageous, but not essential
A strong understanding of construction materials and techniques is preferred
Sound cost planning skills and current knowledge of market ratesProficiency in Microsoft Excel
Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
