Joinery Draftsperson / Industrial Designer
Launch your Joinery Drafting Career with Wyer + Craw
Wyer + Craw Kitchens is a Brisbane-based cabinetmaking company that has been designing and manufacturing custom residential cabinetry for over 40 years. Specialising in premium residential joinery, Wyer + Craw prides itself on delivering exceptional craftsmanship, unmatched quality and a superior finish on every project we undertake.
The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for design and a keen eye for detail to join our team.
At Wyer + Craw, we believe that exceptional joinery drafters first need to understand how quality joinery is built. Our design philosophy is simple:
To design beautiful and practical joinery, you need to understand how its constructed.
As part of our structured training pathway, the successful applicant will spend approximately ***** months gaining experience across our design office, factory and on‐site installation teams. This hands‐on experience provides an invaluable understanding of construction methods, materials and manufacturing processes to succeed in drafting complex high end joinery.
This role is ideally suited to someone with qualifications or experience in industrial design, drafting, architecture,
or a related discipline who is eager to learn and is looking to establish a long‐term career in joinery drafting and project management. While experience using power tools or in construction is advantageous, it is not essential for someone who is enthusiastic, practical and eager to learn.
