We're seeking a proactive procurement professional to join a collaborative team responsible for delivering efficient, compliant and value-driven procurement services. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a broad range of procurement activities while supporting essential community services.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Coordinator Fleet & Procurement, you'll play a key role in ensuring the effective procurement of goods and services, supporting contract compliance and maintaining strong supplier relationships across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate procurement activities across a broad range of goods and services
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures and relevant legislation
Manage tendering activities, RFQs and Expressions of Interest (EOIs)
Develop and maintain strong supplier and stakeholder relationships
Coordinate stocktakes and inventory processes
Provide procurement advice and support to internal stakeholders
Deliver procurement training and promote best practice




Support contract administration and procurement governance
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement operationsAssist in maintaining efficient and cost-effective purchasing processes
About You
Certificate IV in Procurement (or equivalent), or a minimum of four years' experience in a similar procurement environment
Demonstrated experience in procurement, purchasing or contract management
Experience managing tenders, RFQs and supplier relationships
Strong knowledge of procurement policies, governance and compliance
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
Current Class C Driver Licence
Previous Local Government procurement experience will be highly regarded.
