OPS Screening & Crushing Equipment - Rutherford NSW
We are currently seeking a Trades Assistant to support our operations at our facility in Rutherford, NSW. Some of your duties will include:
Prestart checks for workshop plant and equipment including forklifts, cranes and vehicles.
Operation of hand tools, power tools, lifting and access equipment.
Assist trades employees with preventative maintenance, service, production and upgrades to mineral processing and bulk materials handling equipment.
Assist with machine loading / unloading activities.
Stores activities for the branch as required, inclusive of participating in stocktake processes, picking and dispatch of customer orders.
Proactively perform non-trade specific tasks incidental to set work.
Prepare and maintain work areas in a safe and clean manner.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a self-starter with an excellent attitude. Our ideal candidate will be safety focused, have the drive and passion to learn our business and be a part of our team. You will have some previous work experience as a Trades Assistant.
To be successful for this role you will need to have the following:
Full unrestricted 'C' Class Driver's License - HR desirable
Previous experience working in a workshop setting.
Experience with metal working equipment
Be physically able to perform manual handling tasks - lifting up to 25kg
Pro-active and self-motivated




Have a strong personal belief in the importance of safety.
Must be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical and Drug and Alcohol screen
