Introduction
We are currently recruiting a temporary to temporary Assistant Accountant for a leading commercial organisation. They are a leading name in the industry and show significant growth by offering world class services to their customers. You will report to the Financial Controller.
Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, bank and balance sheet reconciliations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.




Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Assistant Accountant OR in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Past experience in using Netsuite (preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Relevant certifications (e.g., Cert IV in Accounting) would be an advantage.
Studying towards CA/ CPA
