At NEC Australia, you'll join a supportive cloud team that works with customers to solve real technology challenges. You'll use your AWS and Azure experience to build, automate and improve enterprise cloud environments, helping make services more secure, reliable and easier to manage.
As part of our Agile Scrum team, you'll collaborate closely with Senior Engineers, Architects and Project teams to deliver secure, repeatable and customer-focused cloud solutions that genuinely make a difference.
What You'll Be Doing
Configure and maintain public cloud platform across AWS and Azure.
Deliver cloud infrastructure and platform services aligned to approved designs and engineering standards.
Drive adoption of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), automation and CI/CD practices.
Support AWS and Azure Landing Zone implementations, platform enhancements and service improvements.
Participate in incident, problem and change management activities.
Contribute to the design and evolution of standardised cloud service offerings.
Improve service availability, security, performance and operational efficiency.
Support customer workshops, technical discussions and service reviews.
Take ownership of customer environments, ensuring services meet operational, security and SLA requirements.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable and highly available cloud solutions.
What You'll Bring
3-6 years' experience in Cloud Engineering, Cloud Operations or Managed Services.
Experience implementing and supporting AWS Landing Zones and/or Azure Landing Zones
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Strong experience administering enterprise Azure and/or AWS environments.
Experience using GitHub or Azure DevOps.
Experience with cloud governance, identity and security controls.
Experience integrating cloud services through APIs and automation.
Working knowledge of ITIL Incident, Problem and Change Management.
Experience working within Agile and DevOps delivery teams.
Experience applying FinOps principles to optimise cloud consumption, operational efficiency and cost management.
Solid written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
