Duties
To participate in the day to day production of food and assist with the efficient, cost effective and smooth running of the kitchen.
Adhering to food production and presentation standards, service procedures and service times.
Ensuring proper food storage and stock rotation procedures are adhered to.
Responding to and treating colleagues with professional respect and courtesy.
Adhering to occupational health and safety guidelines, as outlined in the induction manual and other policies.
Required experience / qualifications
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery,Diploma of Hospitality Management (specialising in Commercial Cookery)or equivalent.
5 years experience in a commercial kitchen as a chef.
Required Skills
Good communication and a willingness to follow direction.
Positive work ethic.
Efficient and organised.
