About the client

About the role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will join a close-knit finance team and play an important role in supporting the organisation's day-to-day financial operations. This is a varied position that will see you working across accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, expense management, month-end activities and financial reporting.
Working with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Basware and Concur, you will ensure the accurate processing of financial transactions while contributing to process improvements and providing high-quality support to stakeholders across the organisation.

Your responsibilities
Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and weekly payment runs;
Process accounts receivable,
bank reconciliations and follow up outstanding payments;
Administer Concur, reconcile corporate credit cards and maintain accurate financial records in D365;
Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, accruals and financial reporting;
Support cash flow, budgeting, fixed assets, audit requirements and finance projects; and
Build strong stakeholder relationships while identifying opportunities for process improvement.
What we're looking for
Experience in a Finance Officer or similar role, or a recent Accounting, Business or Commerce graduate looking to start their finance career;
Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations;
Experience with accounting systems, ideally D365, Basware or Concur;
Excel skills;
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines; and
Accounting, Business or Commerce qualification, or currently studying towards one.
