The Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) program is specifically designed to deliver secure satellite broadband solutions to U.S. government entities and allied nations. We are on the lookout for a Sr. Solutions Architect who will play a pivotal role in advancing this mission and ensuring that our solutions meet the unique needs of our government clients.

What you'll do
Develop and execute architectural frameworks that align with the requirements of government clients, ensuring optimal performance and security.
Work closely with diverse teams, including engineering, product management, and operations, to facilitate the effective deployment of satellite broadband services.
Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and actionable plans.
Conduct thorough assessments of existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept through to implementation and support.
Ensure compliance with government regulations and security standards throughout all phases of project development.
Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance solution quality and effectiveness.
Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to satellite communications and cloud computing to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
At least 7 years of professional experience in solutions architecture or a closely related discipline, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project delivery.




In-depth knowledge of cloud computing principles and satellite communication technologies, with a focus on their application in government settings.
Familiarity with government compliance frameworks and security protocols, ensuring that all solutions meet stringent regulatory standards.
A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is essential for this role.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and devise effective solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to have
Previous experience collaborating with federal government clients or defense contractors, providing insights into their unique operational requirements.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management practices, contributing to efficient project execution and team collaboration.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, enhancing the integration of development and operations for improved service delivery.
