About Us
TKH Security is a global leader in intelligent parking technology. Park Assist, our parking guidance solution, combines AI-driven cameras and sensors, cloud platforms and connected infrastructure to turn parking facilities into smarter, more scalable assets. Invented in Australia, it's now the world's leading solution of its kind, deployed across hundreds of complex sites globally, including major shopping centres, airports, campuses, hospitals and mixed-use developments handling millions of daily parking interactions.
The Role
As the designer for the Parking Product portfolio, you'll be embedded in the Product team and be our sole designer across every parking interface. This includes INX, our customer-facing client portal and showcase product, where polish matters most; SDP, the internal platform used by our teams, resellers and field technicians, where clear, functional flow beats gloss; and whatever comes next as we move into innovation planning. Both INX and SDP are built in React. You'd own the design direction outright. There's no design leader above you, so you carry improvements the whole way, spotting something, writing the ticket, aligning with the product manager, and seeing it shipped. Some weeks that's deep design work on a new initiative, others it's a quick flow fix, so this suits someone who takes on the whole portfolio, not just their lane. You'd also work alongside a AI Enablement Lead building tooling to give a small, sharp team real leverage, so comfort designing in an AI-forward workplace is needed.
Key Responsibilities
Design across the whole parking portfolio, from polished UI in INX to clear, functional UI in SDP.
Frame customer problems, contribute to discovery,
and shape what gets built, not only how it looks.
Run customer UX feedback sessions and turn what you learn into design decisions.
Spot improvements, write the tickets, align with the Product Manager on priority, and see them through to release.
Set and maintain the design direction, including a shared style guide, Figma libraries and tooling.
Partner on the front end of prototypes alongside the Innovation Lead, and use AI to sharpen your work without dropping quality.
What You'll Need
6+ years' product design experience, ideally across complex or technical products.
Genuine range, from polished customer-facing UI to clear, functional operational tooling.
Confidence running customer UX feedback sessions.
Comfort as a sole designer with real autonomy and no design manager above you.
Fluency in Figma and comfort working closely with engineers in a React environment.
Demonstrated, thoughtful use of AI in your design practice, with evidence of the impact.
Strong communication, and the instinct to take ownership.
Desirable but not essential:
Parking, mobility, IoT or connected-infrastructure experience
Establishing design standards from scratch
Front-end prototyping
Working across distributed, international teams.
Why Join Us?
Real design ownership of the entire parking design portfolio, end to end.
An AI-forward team built to give a small, capable team big leverage.
Global impact across hundreds of deployed sites and millions of daily parking interactions.
Flexibility, hybrid in with office in Zetland, Sydney (WFH 2-3 days per week).
Please note: we can only accept applications from candidates based in Australia with full, unrestricted working rights. This role does not offer visa sponsorship.
