Your contribution to Prysmian's Success:
We are looking for an Oceania Business Manager to join Prysmian Transmission team, to be located in Australia.
Reporting directly to APAC Transmission Director and working closely with the Regional Project Management Team you will:
Oversee and support the execution of transmission cable projects in the Oceania region.
Act as the senior regional interface between project execution teams, regional management, and key stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, timelines, and delivery requirements.
Serve as the Senior Local Reference Point for Transmission business activities in Oceania.
Facilitate the establishment of local permanent structures, including legal entities and operational presence where required.
Support the build-up of local project teams, ensuring effective integration with regional and global structures.
Coordinate and support the process of obtaining local permits, licenses and authorizations, working closely with authorities and regulatory bodies.
Create, develop, and maintain robust professional relationships with key external stakeholders, including:
Customers and developers, such as MLPL, TPNZ, Hydro Tasmania, local utilities (TasNetworks, AusNet, Transgrid, Ausgrid, etc.), offshore wind farm developers, and other relevant counterparts.
Major suppliers and contractors involved in transmission and cable projects.




Institutional and regulatory authorities, including AEMO, Ministries of Energy, the Italian Embassy, local Communities, Unions, and other relevant bodies.
Act as a trusted representative of the company, strengthening its visibility and credibility across the Oceania transmission market.
Monitor and identify potential business opportunities across the Oceania region, including participation in: Industry events, conferences, workshops, and exhibitions.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
Experience in same or similar roles and area
Knowledge of the Energy industry (preferably in the Region)
Experience in Business development
Experience in setting-up entities and organizations
Experience in construction projects
Curious and eager to understand technical matters on cable projects
Problem solving and target oriented
Good relationship approach and team working capability
Good networking capability within and without the organization
Availability to short but possibly frequent trips, domestic and abroad
