Customer Service / Internal Sales Representative

This is a key customer-facing role supporting our Electrical Wholesale customers and working closely with our Business Development Managers, Engineering, Production, Logistics, and Marketing teams.

About the Role
As our
Customer Service / Internal Sales Rep,
you will be a primary point of contact for our customers.
You will be responsible for handling general enquiries, managing incoming calls, preparing standard product quotes, processing sales orders, entering and coordinating work orders, and supporting customer follow-up.
This role is focused on Bovara's
standard product range
. Technical, engineered, customised, or complex project enquiries will be referred to the appropriate BDM, Engineering, Estimation, or management resource.




This is a varied role that requires strong communication, attention to detail, internal coordination, and a genuine commitment to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day customer service support to Electrical Wholesale customers.
Act as a primary point of contact for incoming phone and email enquiries.
Prepare, process, and follow up quotations for Bovara's standard product range.
Process customer sales orders accurately and in accordance with company procedures.
Support BDMs with customer follow-up, pricing support, product information, and order updates.
Enter and coordinate work orders for the Engineering team where required.
Liaise with BDMs, Engineering, Production, and Logistics teams to ensure customer requirements are met accurately and on time.
Communicate with customers regarding quote status, order progress, availability, delivery expectations, and any changes or delays.
Maintain accurate customer, quote, order, and project records within CRM and ERP systems.
Support marketing campaigns, customer communications, and promotional activities as required.




Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, sales support, order processing, or a similar role.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional phone manner and customer-focused approach.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
The ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
The ability to work effectively with internal teams across different departments.
Experience using CRM, ERP, or similar business software systems.
A proactive approach to follow-up, problem solving, and customer support.
Experience within the
Electrical Wholesale industry
, electrical products, switchboards, manufacturing, or product-based order processing will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
