Role details:
As a Shift Electrician, at Visy Beverage Can based in Clayton, you'll be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations by maintaining equipment, supporting your team, and driving continuous improvement. This is a full-time permanent role on a rotating Day (7am – 3.30pm), Afternoon (3pm – *****pm) and Night (11pm – 7.30am) shift roster with monthly RDO and overtime available.
What you'll do:
Troubleshooting & performing repairs on automated machines
Continuous improvements focus and involvement in projects
Working alongside our mechanical team and operators to resolve any faults
Ensure ongoing electrical support to the production team and upkeep of machinery and equipment to minimise downtime and maintain productivity and waste targets
Perform routine electrical tests, complete planned maintenance and attend breakdowns
Working a rotating shift roster - day, afternoon and night
What you'll bring:
Electrical Qualifications with an A-grade electrical license
Experience in planning for and working on preventative maintenance and breakdowns
Fault finding and troubleshooting experience will be key
Experience in Automated machinery, PLCs and Drives would be preferred
Knowledge of AS/NZ S **** and ability to read electrical schematics / drawings




Adhere and maintain OHS policies and procedures
