Due to a strong pipeline of current projects and planned future growth, we have multiple opportunities available within our Assembly Team for experienced Mechanical Assemblers.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a hands‐on Assembler to join our growing manufacturing team. In this role, you'll be responsible for assembling high‐quality truck‐mounted equipment, including Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs), vehicle bodies, trays, hydraulic systems, and accessories.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
Assemble Elevated Work Platforms (EWPs), vehicle trays, undertrays, hydraulic hoses, body components and accessories.
Read and work from engineering drawings and specifications.
Complete mechanical assembly tasks to a high standard of quality.
Carry out welding tasks where required.
Safely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipment (when required).
Work collaboratively with other departments to meet production schedules.
Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment.
These are heavy manufacturing roles and involve working on trucks, so some heavy lifting and working under and climbing onto trucks will be required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Experience in mechanical assembly, vehicle body building, heavy equipment, manufacturing, or a similar trade.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Welding experience is advantageous.
Forklift licence and/or overhead crane experience is desirable.
A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Certificate 3 in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or Certificate 3 in Automatic manufacturing technical operations Bus Truck and Tailor (preferred but not essential)
