About The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our Finance team at our Mulgrave Support Hub.
This role is primarily focused on
procurement support and contract administration
across Fronditha Care, with a strong emphasis on supporting our
Support at Home and community services
.
Working closely with the Procurement Specialist and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in managing
supplier agreements,
supporting contract renewals and variations, and maintaining accurate procurement records and compliance documentation
within a regulated aged care environment.
This is not a traditional purchasing or inventory-focused role.
Instead, it requires a high level of attention to detail, an understanding of contracts and governance, and the ability to work within a
client-focused, sensitive service setting
.
You will contribute to procurement processes and systems that support the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring consistency, compliance, and efficiency across supplier and contract management activities.
The Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Support procurement and finance operations to ensure timely and efficient service delivery
Source goods and services in line with organisational needs and budgets
Build and maintain solid relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Assist with contract management, renewals, and negotiations
Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation
Provide financial insights and reporting to support decision-making
Monitor supplier performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Support compliance with financial regulations, internal audits, and governance standards
Contribute to procurement strategy, continuous improvement initiatives, and system enhancements
What Success Looks Like For This Role
High attention to detail,
ensuring accurate and compliant procurement records and documentation
Experience in procurement, finance, accounting or a related field, with solid understanding of processes and systems
Confident using MS Office and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and outcomes
Robust stakeholder and supplier relationship skills within a collaborative setting
Exposure to aged care, not-for-profit or other regulated environments (highly regarded)
Proactive, solutions-focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
Professional, reliable and accountable, aligned with Fronditha Care's values
Relevant tertiary qualification (preferred) or equivalent experience
Greek language skills an advantage
